Parent’s Pride
Welcome to Inspiration Academy’s Parent’s Pride.
Middle and High School is a great time to support your child and be a part of our Parents Pride team. This is IA’s version of a Parent and Teacher Organization. Parents Pride works together to support our wonderful teachers, staff, and students along with each other. We are available to give help and guidance from a parent’s perspective. Due to our smaller school size, we are truly a family unit at Inspiration Academy. Unlike traditional PTO’s that end in elementary school, our group plays an active role at IA through the important adolescent years. We believe that kids really DO enjoy seeing parent involvement at school, on or off campus.
All year round there are many ways to show your support and be involved in our IA community. There is always a need of parents and grandparents to volunteer and serve as committee members for our yearly fundraisers. We can also use help at our smaller school events. For example, providing food for teacher appreciation lunches, treat days and/or stopping by school to lend a hand on certain event days. Please consider signing up to lend a hand when needed.
Parent meetings are held once a month in our Parents Pride room, 202. This is our opportunity to keep everyone informed of our planned activities, get parent suggestions and understand upcoming school needs. You will receive Pride updates via email, on our private FB page and in the school newsletter under Paw Prints. We would ask that you please join our Facebook group page @ Inspiration Academy-Parent’s Pride. This is a great way to see pictures that teachers or staff have posted or to get last minute questions answered.
If you have any questions regarding Parents Pride, please feel free to reach out to any of us at the link below. We look forward to a fantastic school year ahead and making many memories with your continued support.
Blessings,
Sabrina Ullmann and Parent’s Pride
