Over the weekend a group of Inspiration Academy tennis players competed in a UTR tournament at IMG Academy. It was a great weekend for the IA athletes who played hard and came out with some outstanding results winning a few of the draws.
Jeremie Portner was champion of the Boys UTR 1-4 division. He won 4 matches to win the tournament, dropping one set in the process. He was completely dominant in the semifinals and finals winning in routine fashion. Isabella Sambola won the Girls UTR 5-8 division. She won the competition after winning four matches in a row. Camila Sanchez reached the finals of this same division. She won 3 matches and then lost her fourth to the eventual winner Isabella. Hayley Roberts and Valeria Sanchez also reached the semifinals of the Girls UTR 5-8. Carter Olson also played some impressive tennis reaching the semifinals of the Boys UTR 9-11 draw notching up some big wins in the run.
This weekend the Inspiration Academy Tennis players will be in action again this weekend as they host their own UTR money tournament.
