This coming weekend Inspiration Academy will be hosting its biggest UTR money tournament to date. A whopping 98 players will be participating at Inspiration from Friday at noon when the first rounds take place until Monday when the final matches are played. There will be 64 men players and 32 female players of the highest level. There will be players ranging from young budding juniors to seasoned college and top 50 professional players.
In the men’s draw, Matthew Segura will be looking to win his third Inspiration Academy UTR tournament in a row but he will have to come through a lot of tough matches to do so this weekend with 63 other quality players vouching for the prize.
On the women’s side, Inspiration Academy’s Sofia Rojas who was the champion of the last tournament earlier this month is looking to come out victorious for the second time in a row on her home courts. The #97 junior in the world will have her hands completely full with this weekend with Marie Bouzkova and fellow Inspiration Academy Tennis player Brooklyn Olson. Florida #1 and USA #3 U14 girl Brooklyn Olson, is entering the tournament as the number three seed and has high hopes of being crowned champion this weekend. Marie Bouzkova is coming in as the number one seed this weekend. Marie is currently ranked #47 WTA in the world and has wins over grand slam champions such as Sloane Stephens and Jelena Ostapenko and has also pushed legendary player Serena Williams to three sets before. Director of Tennis at Inspiration Academy Ashley Hobson believes this tournament will be one for the books. He said he is excited to see all the players that signed up and is ready to watch some tennis of the highest quality.
