International Student Program
Inspiration Academy is honored to welcome international students from countries around the world into our school community. We provide a supportive environment where students can strengthen their English speaking and writing skills, prepare for college, grow in their faith, and experience life in a new culture. As a federally approved school for international enrollment, Inspiration Academy is authorized to issue the Form I-20 for accepted international students.
Application Process
The application process for international students is detailed below. Our Admission’s Office will partner with you through this process and will be happy to help you with any concerns you may have.
Step 1: Before the Family Interview
All transcripts must be translated from the student’s home language into English.
For the purpose of the family interview, the English translation does not need to be certified.
Step 2: After Acceptance to Inspiration Academy
Once a student has been accepted to Inspiration Academy, the following are required:
• Transcripts must be professionally translated into English by a certified translation company.
• Families are responsible for having the student’s international transcripts officially evaluated from the student’s home country educational system to the U.S. educational system.
• All transcript evaluations must be completed through The Evaluation Company. Families must use The Evaluation Company for this required evaluation.
• When submitting the evaluation request, families must select the Course Analysis level of evaluation.
Please note that translation and evaluation are two separate requirements. A certified translation provides the transcript in English, while the evaluation determines the U.S. academic equivalent of the student’s coursework, credits, and grade levels.
Please complete these requirements in a timely manner so we can finalize the student’s academic records and enrollment process.
