Back to School Planning

● Sign-Up Genius to be set up for volunteer coordination
● Volunteers needed for upcoming events
● Teacher/parent communications to go out via Blackbaud
● Reminders, emails, and newsletter to be coordinated for back-to-school messaging


Back to School Bash — August 6

● Parent Pride will host a table at the event
● “Fuel the Pride” initiative to be promoted
● Apple donation drive to be organized
● Additional messaging/notes to go out to parents ahead of the event

Stock the Lounge

● Teacher lounge stocking scheduled for August 3–7 (Teacher Week)

Amazon Wish List

● Wish list to be reviewed and refreshed
● Next update: August 4, 8:30 AM

Parent Pride Communications

● Create a “Parent Pride” corner on the school website
● Create a dedicated Parent Pride email address/distribution
● Create a Sign-Up Genius branded with Parent Pride (PP)

Meeting Cadence

● Committee will meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at 8:30 AM
● Next meeting: Tuesday, August 4, 2026, 8:30 AM

● Set up Sign-Up Genius for volunteers (branded with Parent Pride)
● Recruit volunteers for Back to School Bash and general committee needs
● Coordinate teacher/parent messaging through Blackbaud, reminders, email, and newsletter
